I always knew that my wedding should be a very special occasion. It should truly become the day of my life. And in fact, after our very first holiday together on Mallorca, it was already clear to me – if we marry, then it will be here. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I wanted a wedding on Mallorca. I could already picture it in my mind's eye – a romantic beach wedding on Mallorca, white sandy beach beneath our feet, the blue sea before us and the breathtaking Mallorcan landscape behind us.

The marriage proposal then actually took place on the island of our dreams as well – ever so romantic, over wine and candlelight on the terrace of a cosy restaurant in a small mountain village. Now my beach wedding to the man of my dreams could finally become a reality, and I could hardly wait to throw myself into the planning of our wedding on Mallorca.

And yet now, looking back on the wedding on Mallorca at the end of our honeymoon, it really does feel like a dream. There truly could not have been a more beautiful day. The highlight was, of course, the ceremony on the beach under the open sky. The moment when I walked across the soft sand towards my husband-to-be in my white dress was indescribable. In radiant sunshine, with the sound of the sea in the background, we said our “I do.”

Naturally, it was also important to us, even at a wedding on Mallorca, to have our family and many friends there with us. The atmosphere was truly unique, which is probably typical of a beach wedding. The whole day was carried by a joyful and exuberant, yet at the same time very romantic mood. The ceremony on the beach itself, as well as the celebration that followed, were therefore a complete success for our guests as well. Many of them, of course, combined our beach wedding with a little holiday on Mallorca too.

I am infinitely happy and grateful to have been able to spend this wonderful occasion in such a romantic and special place. With our wedding on Mallorca we fulfilled a lifelong dream. From now on, with every holiday on Mallorca, very special memories of our love and our beach wedding will be associated.
