A breathtaking bay with crystal-clear turquoise water and a white sandy beach - for many, the most beautiful spot on the island. As Cala Mondrago is a protected nature park (Parc Natural), ceremonies within the park itself generally cannot be authorised; we use it as a spectacular backdrop for photographs and plan the ceremony itself at a nearby stretch of beach where authorisation is possible.
Playa de Muro (north)
The 7 km-long natural beach in the north of the island offers wide expanses of sand for larger groups. Exclusive stretches of beach can be hired privately. Particularly popular for sunset weddings with views of the Tramuntana mountains.
Cala Pi (south-west)
A dramatic bay with sheer cliffs, a small white beach and an old watchtower as a backdrop. A unique setting for intimate beach weddings of up to 30 guests. One of the most photogenic spots on the entire island.

- Preparing the ceremony area: We set up the canopy, floral decoration, chairs and aisle runner on the beach the evening before or in the morning
- Welcoming the guests: A reception with sparkling wine or Aperol Spritz on the beach

What to Consider for a Beach Wedding in Mallorca
- Permits: Ceremonies on public beaches require a special authorisation to use the public coastal area. This is the responsibility of the national coastal authority (Demarcacion de Costas) and the relevant municipality (Ayuntamiento). We handle the application for you - lead times range from several weeks to several months depending on the beach, so do enquire early.
- Private beach: Beach weddings on private stretches of beach (beach clubs, seaside villas) are more straightforward. No permit required, flexible use.
- Weather: Mallorca enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year - the risk is low. Even so, we always prepare a weather plan B with a nearby covered alternative area.
- Sand & chairs: We use special outdoor chairs and rugs that are stable on sand.
- Season: May to October is ideal. September is especially lovely: the sea is warm, the light is golden and the crowds are thinning out.
