Beach Wedding: 5 Ways to the Best Wedding

Sun, water and love – beach wedding

Have you ever dreamed of one day celebrating a wedding on the beach? Well, beach weddings are one of the many wonderful ways to unite with our loved ones in a wedding ceremony. The soft sand, the soothing breeze and the breathtaking rays of sun are just a few of the many features of beach weddings that make them a paradise for weddings. We should also take into account a few unfavourable circumstances that can arise at this momentous event, such as bad weather, curious onlookers and even mosquitoes. You have to be well prepared when celebrating a wedding outdoors. Experts who specialise in weddings at a particular place or outdoors are the select few you can turn to in such situations. To look good, fresh and carefree, here are some pieces of advice and tips you should bear in mind for a beach wedding.

1. The lighter, the better. When choosing the fabric, you should opt for light materials such as chiffon and charmeuse, so that the dress drapes smoothly and beautifully even in strong wind. The drawback of heavy dresses and dresses with too much lace is that dirt from the beach can get caught in them, which makes it less attractive and uncomfortable for the wearer.

2. Do without large dresses. Well, if you are trying to wear large ball gowns or dresses, you should think twice. It will be difficult to take photos with your friends, and it could make you look as if you were in a ballroom, when it is supposed to be a fresh, light wedding.

3. No to heels. High heels are not advisable at a wedding on a sandy beach. Sand and heels simply do not go together. Flat-soled sandals and wedges are some of the loveliest shoes that do not sink into the sand. In addition, you should give your footwear extra protection, since the sand can become very hot on bright sunny days. Bear in mind that you should not embarrass yourself by stumbling down the aisle because of your footwear.

4. Thumbs up for an updo. Small elements and details are something special at a beach wedding. With a classic updo you will look stunning and beautiful all day long. A trial run at your location is highly recommended. It is best to invest in the right hairdresser, who can touch up the hairstyle during the event.

5. Cut out the veils. Long veils are not really welcome in a beach setting. The windy environment of the beach would be a nightmare for your veil. Photographers would certainly have a hard time capturing those special moments if you have long veils that simply keep giving way in the beach breeze.
