Where you hold your wedding ceremony on Mallorca is entirely up to you, and there is virtually no wish that has to go unfulfilled. The wonderfully beautiful sandy beaches offer a glorious setting in which, draped entirely in white linen, you can give your partner your “I do”. The flight time to Palma de Mallorca is not even quite two hours, and all year round you can get there and back by plane for around EUR 200.00. The acceptance of same-sex couples on Mallorca has changed enormously in recent years. There are hotels and beaches where you will find almost exclusively lesbians and gay men. Some hotels and guesthouses have even specialised in accommodating same-sex couples and are mostly run by same-sex couples themselves. Same-sex couples are always welcome in the towns and cities too. Nevertheless, you should still avoid the typical family destinations, as experience shows that the level of acceptance there is lower. Anyone who, on their honeymoon after the ceremony, would like to go out in the evening and party a little should find out beforehand where the gay and lesbian scene is in the individual towns. There you will meet many like-minded people. The rest of the honeymoon you should of course enjoy arm in arm with your beloved on this beautiful sun-drenched island, setting off together, marriage certificate in your pocket, into a loving, long and shared future.
