The Best Time of Year to Get Married in Mallorca: Which Month Is Perfect?

The most beautiful time to get married in Mallorca is late spring and early autumn: May, June, September and early October are considered ideal – with pleasant temperatures, long balmy evenings and a high chance of fine weather. But every season has its own appeal. In this guide we explain, honestly, when your dream wedding will feel most comfortable – and what to keep in mind month by month.

The best season at a glance

If you want weather that is warm but not too hot, long evenings and stable conditions, May, June, September and early October are the safest months. That is exactly why they are the most popular – the finest venues and dates are often booked more than a year in advance.

Spring (April–June): fresh nature and a mild climate

In spring the island is at its greenest and temperatures are pleasantly mild. May and June are especially sought-after – warm enough to celebrate in the open air without the heat of high summer. April can still be changeable, but suits couples who prefer it quieter.

Summer (July–August): guaranteed sun, but hot

In high summer sunshine is almost guaranteed, and balmy nights invite celebrating late. However, daytime temperatures are hot – often above 30 °C – and the island is busy. For a summer wedding we recommend shaded venues, a later afternoon ceremony and plenty of refreshment for your guests.

Autumn (September–October): often the perfect choice

September is the ideal month for many couples: the sea is still warm, the peak heat is over and the evening light is golden. Early October is usually still mild and stable too. The later into October, the higher the chance of the first rain – a good wet-weather plan then becomes more important.

Winter (November–March): intimate and authentic

Out of season Mallorca is calm and authentic – ideal for intimate celebrations and elopements. The days are shorter and cooler and rain is possible, but many venues are more relaxed in availability. A winter wedding usually moves indoors, for example to a finca with a fireplace or an atmospheric city palace.

Weather & temperatures at a glance

As a rough guide: May and June around 22–28 °C, July and August often above 30 °C, September around 26–28 °C, October 20–24 °C. Evenings in spring and autumn are pleasantly cool – a good tip for your guests to pack a light jacket.

Secure popular dates early

The most in-demand weekends in May, June and September are often booked 12 to 18 months ahead. If you have a particular place in mind, secure the venue and date first. You will find a curated selection under wedding venues Mallorca.

A plan for bad weather

Even in the best season it can rain. For every open-air wedding we plan an equivalent wet-weather alternative – a covered terrace, an inner courtyard or a beautiful indoor space – so your day succeeds no matter what.
