How to use the split well

The percentages are starting points, not rules. The smartest move: decide first which two categories matter most to you – say, venue and photography – and deliberately spend more there. Balance it out with items your guests barely notice.

Guest count is the strongest cost lever: catering, furniture, transfers and stationery grow almost linearly with every person. A smaller list creates room for a higher level per guest – the core idea behind many micro-weddings.

What drives costs on Mallorca in detail – season, venue type, travel – is covered in our guide What does a wedding in Mallorca cost?. And which setting fits your budget is in the venue catalogue.

Mallorca wedding budget – FAQ

How should you split a wedding budget in Mallorca?

As a rule of thumb, around 40–50% of the budget goes to venue and catering – by far the largest item. Then come photo/video (about 10–12%), flowers and décor (8–10%), planning and coordination (8–12%), music (5–8%), plus outfits, logistics and stationery. Always keep a 5–8% contingency buffer.

Is this budget planner a Puntorosso price list?

No. The tool only calculates with the budget you enter yourself and shows typical percentage splits from practice. Every wedding is different – we prepare a free, individual, no-obligation estimate for you shortly.

What drives the cost of a wedding in Mallorca?

Mainly guest count, venue type (finca, beach, city palace, hotel), season and level of styling. Guest count is the strongest lever: catering, furniture, transfers and stationery scale almost linearly with each person.

Where can you save on the wedding budget without anyone noticing?

A weekday or shoulder-season date, a venue with a beautiful natural backdrop (which needs less décor), a strong menu instead of many courses, and deliberate priorities: invest in what matters most to you and simplify the rest.

How many guests are typical for a Mallorca wedding?

Destination weddings are usually smaller than celebrations at home – often between 30 and 80 guests. The closer circle travels, and in return the celebration often spans a whole weekend together.
