Along the 27.3 km route between Palma de Mallorca and Sóller, the Sóller railway has run daily without interruption since 1912. From 1913, the tram has also run along the 4.9 kilometres from Sóller to the Port of Sóller.
The Sóller railway is also distinguished by its special, attractive route, which overcomes the natural barrier of the Sierra de Alfàbia.
